Ree-Yong spent over a year researching materials, developing designs and testing prototypes before launching her first pet furniture collection.

Previously she worked for Dutch design retail store COPY, co-owned the trendy home accessories store Het Warenhuis in Amsterdam and worked for IKEA.

Born in the Netherlands of Dutch, French and Chinese descent, Ree-Yong grew up surrounded by animals and throughout her childhood helped to raise four dogs, five cats, two rabbits, two hamsters, nine birds, a turtle and numerous fish. Today, as well as her three-year old daughter Nikki, she is raising a three-year old mixed-breed called Coco, named after the legendary designer and Molly, the one year old rescue cat.
